Fiducia Supplicans: Like It or Not, the Vatican Approves of Homosexuality
by Rev. Fr. Carlos Zepeda
It is news now revolving all around the world that on December 18th, the “Dicastery of the Faith” (one wonders which faith) issued a new declaration called Fiducia Supplicans with a deceitful subtitle pretending that the document was written to better explain the “nature of blessings”; however, upon reading the document, even the least cautious will discover that the whole purpose of this document is to give the Vatican’s Modernist-style (one step to the right, two steps to the left), scandalous approval to same sex-unions....

Courage in Captivity: A Story of Hope and Survival in a Japanese Prisoner-of-War Camp and Its Lessons for Our Times
by Dr. Martin Hughes, Ph.D.
It is impossible for us, today, to comprehend the horrors those men lived through at the hands of a sadistic enemy under the Rising Sun. How could we? Surrounded with all the comforts of modern life, there is nothing in our realm of experience that can even remotely compare to the constant brutality they endured. So how are we to draw lessons for today from experiences so drastically different than our own?...

The Meaning of Sin
A Sermon Preached by Rev. Fr. Oswald Baker (+2004), England
All true Catholics know that immorality throughout the world has quickened since the Second Vatican Council. Vatican II perverted traditional, authentic Catholicism. The Council was infiltrated and commandeered, from its opening, by evil forces bent on the destruction of Catholicism and, therefore, on the destruction of the cause of God in the world. The Council directed the minds of men to earth rather than to heaven. Not, of course, flagrantly and explicitly, but with truly satanic subtlety. Vatican II subverted rational, traditional Catholic teaching on liberty and substituted a theory which Pope Gregory XVI (1831-1846) condemned as “lunacy”...

American Heroes of the Faith: God’s Cheerful Missionary: Fr. Francis Xavier Seelos, C.Ss.R.
by Rev. Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI
Exhausted from visiting and caring for the victims of yellow fever in New Orleans, Fr. Seelos contracted the dreaded disease and died on October 4, 1867 after several weeks of patiently enduring his illness. In his last moments, his confreres were inspired to sing his favorite hymns to the Mother of God, and it was during a hymn that he surrendered his soul. Reports of miracles started immediately after his death. His cause for Beatification was introduced in 1900, and in 1912 his cause was formally opened, giving him the title Servant of God. Numerous miracles have been reported through the years...

True Devotion to Mary (Part 9)
by Rev. Fr. Dominic Radecki, CMRI
Pope St. Pius X said, “Holy Communion is the shortest and surest way to Heaven. There are others, innocence, for instance, but that is for little children; penance, but we are afraid of it; a generous endurance of the trials of life, but when they approach us we weep and pray to be delivered. Once for all, beloved children, the surest, easiest, shortest way is by the Holy Eucharist”...

"Behold the Handmaid of the Lord"
The Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary — which is transferred this year to April 8, due to the early date of Easter — is sometimes
referred to as the beginning of the work of salvation. In the Garden of Eden God had promised that He would send a Redeemer to repair the harm caused to the human race by the sin of Adam and Eve. Moreover, he referred to a woman who would crush the head of the serpent. It was at the Annunciation that the humble Virgin Mary drew God the Son from the bosom of the Father into her bosom, where the Word was made Flesh...
