Sedevacantism: Have the Gates of Hell Prevailed?
Addressing Objections to the Sedevacantist Position
Condensed and reprinted with permission from NovusOrdoWatch.org
Our Lord promised that the “Gates of Hell” will not prevail against the rock on which the Church was founded. Using several lectures of the late Cardinal Henry Edward Manning as reference to his argument, the author explains that the rock is the papacy, and that it was prophecied that like Christ in His passion was delivered over to the powers of darkness, so likewise, the papacy must go through a period of darkness before the Church’s final triumph. Another excellent article in defense of the sedevacantist position.

The Sufferings and the Glory of Christ
A Sermon Preached by Rev. Fr. Bernard Uttley, OSB
Although Our Lord’ Humanity is worthy of divine honor, since it is united to a divine Person, the Church allows public veneration and official liturgical worship for only two parts of His humanity: His Sacred Heart and His Precious Blood. The reason would seem to be that these two parts are most closely connected with our Savior. His Heart is the symbol of the love which urged our Blessed Lord to deliver Himself to death for us, and the shedding of His blood was the actual means by which expiation the sins of the world was made....

The Danger of Tepidity in the Spiritual Life
by Rev. Fr. Dominic Radecki, CMRI
Lukewarmness is a state of soul that is most repulsive to Our Lord, and one of the most dangerous in the spiritual life, for one in this state is, as it were, spiritual asleep or numb, and not aware of his slow descent into a life of sin.
