The Reign of Mary
Vol. XLIII, No. 148: Letter from the Editor

Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Dear friends in Our Lady,
We recently received word of the death of Fr. Martin Stepanich, a traditional Franciscan priest, 97 years of age, who was a good friend of The Reign of Mary. You will notice in this issue an excellent article on Our Lady which he sent me a couple months ago for publication. Fr. Martin was always faithful to the true Mass and the true Faith (see the article on him in issue #124). Let us all pray for the repose of his soul.
Our annual Fatima Conference again drew a good number of traditional Catholics from around the country. Given that the Conference opened for its first full day of lectures on October 11th, the 50th anniversary of the opening of Vatican II, the topic of that false council was one of the main themes for the day, with several lectures exposing this infamous assemblage. The Conciliar Church observed the occasion with rejoicing. Our observation was far different — a thorough review of the evils of that council.
The main theme of the Fatima Conference, however, was the request of Our Lady for amendment of life: “Men must cease offending God; He is already too much offended.” Indeed the necessity of amendment of life is at the root of all solutions needed today, for sin is the cause of all the problems in the world. Traditional Catholics were greatly disappointed in the results of the recent election. But we must remember that it is not a political solution that is needed, but a moral solution. Let us generously fulfill Our Lady’s request for amendment and offer reparation for those who refuse to change their lives and give up sin.
Unavoidably, this final issue of 2012 is late in going to the press. Consequently, since you likely will not receive it until mid-December, I would like to take the opportunity to extend to all of you, friends and supporters of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen, our heartfelt wish and prayers for a truly blessed Christmas for you and your loved ones. May the Infant Jesus come to dwell in our hearts this Christmas. To make that happen, let us completely amend our lives as His Mother requested.
May God bless you all.
In the service of Jesus and Mary
